The partnership adds to Cadillac’s continued commitment to the growth and unification of the menswear market by supporting both emerging and established designers. Cadillac will also continue as the presenting sponsor of New York Men’s Day (NYMD) for the second consecutive season.

adidas introduces the adigirl Apparel Collection Designed for the Sporty Teen

NEW YORK, July 22, 2015 - Today adidas unveils The adigirl Collection, a new apparel line designed specifically for the teen athlete. The line — a first of its kind — combines key performance attributes with street style detailing to create a unique, versatile assortment of pieces that bring sport into everyday life. The adigirl Collection draws inspiration from five team sports - basketball, volleyball, track, softball and soccer — each popular with the teen athlete.
“adigirl was created to specifically meet the needs of the female teen athlete and provides her with versatile options that can be worn for more than just practice,” says Katie Becker, Senior Design Director for adidas Training and Sportswear. “We brought a fashion element to the design process that adds a fresh look and style that is unique to the adigirl Collection.”
Bold color is a key component to the adigirl aesthetic, with a palette that includes bright reds, deep purples, multiple shades of blue and floral prints, in addition to the always essential shades of concrete grey and black. Equally important is the collection’s acute attention to details, many of which are a perfect union of fashion and function.

International Spanish jewelry firm Carrera y Carrera’s new Alegoria collection presents pieces where butterflies are the protagonists.
The jewelry pieces depict butterflies in various poses — sitting on flowers, taking flight, or fluttering.
“Butterflies are fascinating and full of meaning and soul. They inspire stories that give flight to fantasies and desires,” explains the firm. “So, via the Alegoria collection, the master goldsmiths at Carrera y Carrera are paying tribute to eternal femininity with jewels that are characterized by life, harmonious movement, and weightlessness.”

The Opening Ceremony of the 68th Festival de Cannes (13-24 May 2015) took place in the Grand Theatre Lumiere.
After a ballet choreographed by Benjamin Millepied, Lambert Wilson welcomed on stage the Feature films Jury: Rossy de Palma, Sophie Marceau, Sienna Miller, Rokia Traore, Guillermo del Toro, Xavier Dolan, Jake Gyllenhaal and their Presidents, Joel and Ethan Coen.
The Festival was declared open by Julianne Moore and the Ceremony continued with the screening Out of Competition of Emmanuelle Bercot’s La Tete Haute, with the key members of the movie crew in attendance.

Since 1983, the Cartier has been presenting its collection in exhibitions at various cultural institutions worldwide, including the Metropolitan Museum in New York, the British Museum in London, the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in Lisbon and the Palace Museum in Beijing.
From 4 December to 16 February 2014, this creative heritage will be on display at the Grand Palais in Paris as “CARTIER. LE STYLE ET L’HISTOIRE” exhibition. More than 600 creations have been selected for display. High jewellery pieces, mystery clocks, watches and precious objects will be exhibited alongside private loans on show for the very first time.
On December 2, 2013, Stanislas Chauveau de Quercize, President and CEO of Cartier International and Jean-Paul Cluzel, President des Etablissements at the Reunion des Musees Nationaux-Grand Palais welcomed more than 200 guests from the worlds of business and art.
Guests were received in the Salon d’honneur of the Grand Palais, where they were able to enjoy an exclusive preview of the Cartier. Le style et l’histoire exhibition. They then moved on to the Galerie Courbe for a dinner.

NEW YORK, NY - October 17, 2013 - NBC, Donald J. Trump, and Paula M. Shugart, president of the Miss Universe Organization, announced today that Thomas Roberts and Mel B will host the 62nd Annual Miss Universe Competition airing Saturday, Nov. 9 from Crocus City Hall in Moscow.
This will be the first time in the pageant’s 62-year history that the competition will be held in Russia. The MISS UNIVERSE telecast is broadcast in approximately 190 countries and an estimated 1 billion viewers worldwide are expected to tune in. Contestants will be judged in three categories: swimsuit, evening gown and interview as they vie for the coveted title of Miss Universe 2013.

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, now taking place at Lincoln Center, September 5-12, 2013, draws hundreds of thousands of fashion fans to New York City.
