adidas today premiered a new series of films underlining adidas’ leadership and passion for sports.

“Who I am is not defined solely by what I achieve on the tennis court,” said global tennis icon Caroline Wozniacki, who is one of the stars in the film. “My passions and creativity off the court inspire me to be a better athlete and this film series brings together everything that makes me uniquely me. It is exciting and inspiring to be part of a larger group of women who share this same creative mindset.”

The “I’m Here to Create” film series brings to life authentic stories of real female athletes, who show the world the numerous ways in which they embrace creativity to tackle challenges, defy conventions, express themselves and fuel experimentation.

Through “I’m Here to Create” adidas will empower athletes across the world to declare how they bring creativity to sport.

The Goya Awards, known in Spanish as los Premios Goya, are Spain’s main national annual film awards.

As with every year, the Spanish cinema dressed up with jewels from Carrera y Carrera. The presentation of the 30th Goya Awards ceremony sparkled with jewels from this international jewelry firm, which is present in over 40 countries and has subsidiaries in the United States, Japan, and Russia, and boutiques in Madrid, Barcelona, Tokyo, Moscow, Dubai, Bangkok, Macau, and Kuala Lumpur, among other cities.

At the Goya Awards ceremony, celebrated names of Spanish cinema, including male attendees, showed off the unique and luxuriant Carrera y Carrera pieces. Famous Spanish actor, comedian, and host Dani Rovira, for example, was wearing Carrera y Carrera cufflinks.

MasterCard is introducing a new program that will bring MasterCard payments to a wide array of consumer products across the automotive, fashion, technology, wearables, and yet to be imagined categories.

The program gives consumers the freedom to shop using the device or thing that is most convenient to them, with the highest level of security available.

The program will launch with the support of several eminent partners across multiple verticals to fit every lifestyle need. Designer to the stars Adam Selman, automaker General Motors, wearable technology innovator Nymi, smart jewelry company Ringly, and Bluetooth locator TrackR are among the prominent consumer brands enabling their products through the program.

Exclusive designs from Adam Selman and prototypes from GM (car key fob), Nymi (wristband) and Ringly (ring), were on display at the Money 20/20 conference in Las Vegas last month.

The Internet of Things (IoT) - the hyper-connected world where every device from the phone to the washing machine will be connected to the Internet - is transforming the way consumers interact and transact. According to Cisco, there will be 50 billion connected devices by 2020. MasterCard is establishing the program as the foundation to enable payments for IoT.

“As more and more ‘things’ become connected, consumers will have endless possibilities when it comes to how they pay, and will need all of their devices to work seamlessly together,” said Ed McLaughlin, Chief Emerging Payments Officer at MasterCard. “This program eliminates the boundaries of how we pay by delivering a secure digital payment experience to virtually anything - rings, fitness and smart bands, car key fobs, apparel, and whatever comes along next.”

The launch of the program puts in place a standard for expanding secure contactless and embedded payment options globally. Products will begin rolling out in 2016 in the U.S., with plans to expand to other markets.

London, Sunday 1st November 2015 — The countdown to Christmas started today at the Oxford Street Christmas Lights Switch On Event broadcast and seen by millions around the globe.

Global pop star Kylie Minogue took to the stage for the 56th annual switch-on moment, illuminating Oxford Street in silver light and 445 gleaming gold baubles. The lighting event marks the official start of the London Christmas shopping season.

Paris - The L’Oréal Foundation and UNESCO today revealed the five winners of the 2016 L’Oreal-UNESCO For Women in Science Awards in the field of Life Sciences. They will receive their awards at a ceremony to be held on 24 March 2016 in Paris.

Nominated by more than 2,600 leading scientists, 2016’s five laureates were then selected by an independent and international jury of 13 prominent scientists in the international scientific community. This year’s President of the Jury is Professor Elizabeth H. Blackburn, 2008 Laureate L’Oreal-UNESCO For Women in Science and 2009 joint winner of the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine.

The jury announced the winners of the 2016 edition, five women scientists who will be awarded on 24 March 2016 at the Grand Amphitheatre of the Sorbonne in Paris. Each laureate will receive a Prize of €100,000 in recognition of her contribution to science.

Amazon has opened its new multi-million pound fashion photography studio in London. British actress Suki Waterhouse attended the opening as the new brand ambassador of Amazon Fashion Europe for Autumn/Winter 2015.

International Spanish jewelry firm Carrera y Carrera’s new Alegoria collection presents pieces where butterflies are the protagonists.

The jewelry pieces depict butterflies in various poses — sitting on flowers, taking flight, or fluttering.

“Butterflies are fascinating and full of meaning and soul. They inspire stories that give flight to fantasies and desires,” explains the firm. “So, via the Alegoria collection, the master goldsmiths at Carrera y Carrera are paying tribute to eternal femininity with jewels that are characterized by life, harmonious movement, and weightlessness.”

Alegoria is a collection of earrings, rings, and necklaces in white and yellow gold with pink sapphires and diamonds.

SAN FRANCISCO — Apple has announced that Apple Watch, its most personal device yet, will be available on Friday, April 24, 2015 to customers in Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, the UK and the US.

According to Apple, Apple Watch is an incredibly accurate timepiece, an intimate and immediate communication device and a groundbreaking health and fitness companion.

“Conceived, designed and developed as a singular product, Apple Watch merges hardware and software like never before,” said Jony Ive, Apple’s senior vice president of Design. “In Apple Watch, we’ve created three beautifully curated collections with a software architecture that together enable unparalleled personalization in a wearable device.”

Apple Watch introduces “revolutionary technologies” including the Digital Crown, an innovative way to scroll, zoom and navigate fluidly without obstructing the display. The Retina display with Force Touch on Apple Watch senses the difference between a tap and a press, providing a new way to quickly and easily access relevant controls. And the all-new Taptic Engine discreetly delivers a gentle tap on your wrist whenever you receive a notification or message.

Accurate & Customizable Timepiece

Apple Watch can be personalized with watch faces ranging from traditional analog such as the Chronograph face, to the information-rich Modular face, or beautifully animated butterflies and jellyfish on the Motion face. Apple Watch enables millions of possible configurations. Swipe up from the watch face for Glances that quickly show you information you care about, such as the weather forecast, your current location on a map or the music you’re listening to.

Intimate & Immediate Communication Device

Apple Watch enables you to send messages, read email and answer calls to your iPhone right from your wrist. The Taptic Engine alerts you with a gentle tap so you won’t miss important notifications. Celebrating 90 years of craftsmanship, Montblanc is introducing its Meisterstuck collection, a unique selection of leather goods, meticulously crafted timepieces, men’s jewellery and Meisterst writing instruments.

The Meisterstuck Collection features the 149 Fountain Pen (first manufactured in Hamburg in 1924), Classique and LeGrand Fountain pens and a Rollerball and Ballpoint. The refined timepieces are manufactured in Villeret and Le Locle Switzerland. The collection also includes men’s jewelry and accessories: refined cufflinks, bracelets and key holders.
