ATLANTA, June 4 -- Fans of TNT's THE CLOSER, ad-supported cable's #1 series of all time, will have a chance to ask questions of the series' cast members, including Golden Globe(R) winner Kyra Sedgwick, and find out what is in store for the upcoming third season when TVGuide.com hosts a special interactive Web cast live from the set on Thursday, June 7. Joining Sedgwick will be the series creator and executive producer James Duff as well as fellow cast members Jon Tenney, J.K. Simmons, Corey Reynolds, Robert Gossett, G.W. Bailey, Tony Denison, Raymond Cruz and Michael Paul Chan. Craig Tomashoff, TV Guide's Los Angeles bureau chief, will moderate the chat, which invites fans to send questions in via email and watch the cast live as they offer their insights on their characters, the show, the upcoming third season and the show's enormous popularity.

KAMCHATKA, Russia, June 4 -- According to World Wildlife Fund, Kamchatka's Kronotsky Nature Preserve is one of only four places on Earth where geysers punch holes through the Earth's crust to spew boiling water and steam skyward (the three other sites are in Yellowstone National Park, Iceland and New Zealand). But that disappeared under water within hours after a massive slide of boulders, gravel, snow and ice choked the Geyser River in the world-famous Valley of the Geysers.
Part of the Volcanoes of Kamchatka UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Valley of the Geysers is nestled in a canyon of a mountain river, where more than 20 large geysers and 200 thermal springs, vapor-steam jets, and mud-pots belch, boil and gush in an area of only about seven square kilometers.
At the time of the disaster, 19 tourists were exploring the valley after being flown in by helicopter for a three-hour excursion to one of Kamchatka's literal tourist hotspots. It was a miracle no one was killed, eyewitnesses said, as the landslide came to a grinding halt within a meter of the helicopter and buildings where people were located. An earthquake the night before may have triggered the slide.
"We've lost one of the great natural wonders of the world," says Laura Williams, director of WWF-Russia's Kamchatka office. Known in the United States as World Wildlife Fund and recognized worldwide by its panda logo, WWF leads international efforts to protect endangered species and their habitats and to conserve the diversity of life on Earth. A slight change of direction is revealed in the new Autumn and Winter United Colors of Benetton men’s collection. The label presents a totally transformed man. The Benetton man absorbs the rules of dressing well, interpreting them according to his own taste. Formal without being cloyingly boring, casual with knowing sophistication, tastefully sporty and with clear ideas about style. He matures without ageing.
Rock Singer: entirely formalwear the look captures the mod style with pencil shapes. Dark and pinstriped suits, jackets and ties, short and slim coats, slim-fit polo shirts and somewhat old-style cardigans with diamond patterns creating a fascinating air of stagy elegance without the traditional rhinestones and lack of moderation suggested by the title.
Camden Town: A sophisticated look with a mixture of textiles. Knitwear in luxury yarn, with plays on stripes, diamonds and stylised flowers in black and ivory, or with coloured jacquard patterns, all over or bordering the necklines worn with shiny parkas and aviator blousons, country peacoats and trench coats. Conspicuous blazers in English wool, napped leather, reversed imitation sheepskin with sports-style, straight well-proportioned trousers.
Ice Hockey: Blue, white and red are the colours of a winter theme for leisure time. Layering transforms an outfit on the go throughout the day. Soft, tracksuit-cut trousers, woollen pullovers with hoods, which combine diamonds with stripes, jacquard stars with plain colours. Blousons jackets inspired by kit from the gym or boxing ring and long mountain jackets lined in jersey the whole look is mixed with dark blue denim.

United Colors of Benetton predicts next winter will be "hot", but global warming is not a factor.
The warmth lies in the soft and comfortable fabrics; a frothy triumph of knit effects. The mood is that of the mountain chalet for the city. The colours are from the forest and the fireplace, whilst lines are soft & embracing, without clinging.

The mini ball is a world cup-style redesign of Right To Play's longstanding symbol and will retail for 10 dollars in the US. Legendary investor Bill Gross will be auctioning part of his multi-million US$ stamp collection for charity on June 11. The stamps are expected to sell for US$5million, a 150% increase on the initial purchase price. Stanley Gibbons Limited, the world's oldest and most respected name in stamps, will be there in New York holding seminars showing investors how to achieve 150% returns investing in rare stamps.
